Tiger Woods PGA 13 may very well be a great addition to the successful virtual golf franchise, but the announcement trailer doesn’t give us much to get excited about.

The graphics look stellar—which is something we’ve come to expect—but we can’t detect much else.

Tiger is sharing the cover with Rickie Fowler and Rory McElroy. Tiger has received less than sole cover-man status since his personal and professional issues arose.

Last year he was barely on the cover at all, though the game still did carry his name. And, he was the default player for gamers. He was pictured off in the distance, driving off the tee.

Following his win at the 2011 Chevron World Challenge, Tiger Woods is looking to keep that momentum going into the 2012 season. 

He’ll make his golfing debut at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in the United Arab Emirates, on January 26th.

The next week he’ll return to his home state of California to play in the Pebble Beach AT&T National Pro-Am for the first time in 10 years.

Among the full-field of talented players the Abu Dhabi tournament touts are the reigning U.S. Open champ, Rory McIlroy; World Number 1, Luke Donald; and the tournament’s defending champion, Martin Kaymer
