Speaking to The Sun, Brazilian attack-minded midfielder, Willian, expressed his excitement at the prospect of moving to Chelsea.
Willian‘s current club, Shakhtar Donetsk, recently reported that Chelsea made a bid in the region of £17 million for him. That bid was swiftly rejected, with Willian‘s release clause being £29 million.
“If a deal doesn’t go through, I’ll understand. But I hope it happens. They (Chelsea) have a culture of winning trophies and that excites me. To play for them is a challenge I would accept and enjoy,” said the midfielder.
Willian spoke about how his fellow countrymen and close friends, David Luiz and Ramires, have spoken highly about life at Stamford Bridge.
