With the New Orleans Hornets and shooting guard Eric Gordon unable to reach a contract extension ahead of Wednesday’s deadline, he could be available. One team that would be wise to inquire is the Indiana Pacers.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Pacers have long coveted Gordon (an Indiana native) and they would love to work out some type of deal either through trade as soon as possible or restricted free agency during the offseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 96-91 on Wednesday night, but that wasn’t what sent Chris Paul into a frenzy.
The Clippers All-Star point guard got into a light jawing match with Lakers forward Pau Gasol as the two teams walked down court for free throws on the other end.
The words weren’t what Paul took offense to, what he took offense to was a head rub from the seven-foot Spaniard.
Paul, approximately an entire foot shorter at 6’0″, immediately reached up to rub Gasol’s head in similar fashion.
